Assistant Logistics Manager

Responsibilities

• You assist the Logistics Manager to drive the supply chain to and from the distribution centre, with a clear people and business focus.
• In that perspective, you assist the Logistics Manager to lead, manage and organize the distribution centre as one team, embracing the company’s values, policies and all relevant procedures, in collaboration with the 3PL service provider.
• Together with the 3PL service provider, you assist the Logistics Manager to maximize profitability, operation excellence, quality and efficiency in a sustainable way for our omni customers, in all brands.
• Assists the Logistics Manager to drive supply chain excellence, and in particular to (from in-bound to DC, at DC, and from DC to out-bound):
• Grow a “customer first” – “customer centric” mindset within the Logistics team of the company and of the 3PL service provider, in line with the brand’s platform;
• Secure that all the Logistics goals are shared, understood, adhered to by all stakeholders;
• Prepare, secure and follow-up on the Logistics budgets;
• Grow logistics solutions which contribute to both the short-term and long-term sustainability goals of the company
• Secure that all logistics goals are delivered;
• Secure a constant improvement plan for both the Logistics team of the company and of the 3PL service provider, not only on cost and productivity, but also on quality and sustainability;
• Plan and forecast the needs of change and improvements which the Logistics activities will require, having in mind the growth targets set by the country’s management.
