Commercial Manager

Location: Bangkok
Monthly Salary Range: (THB) 120000 - 1500000

Roles and Responsibilities:

Our client is a manufacturer of electrical switchgear 

Work Location: Bangkok

Artemis is recruiting a Commercial Manager with at least 10 years of working experience

Responsibilities

          On receiving the customer order, responsibilities include but does not limit to:

         Reviewing of all "Tender" file, and initiate contract handover meeting in conjunction with Contracts Engineering team and in the case of company, factory management.

         Oversee creation of a "Contract" file, which includes a summary of all commercial and technical data relating to the required products and, where possible, designating an appropriate part codes (exact specifications) using models and options framework.

         Ability to List "outsourced" items which may be required, together with other factored products or services and brief factory management accordingly.

         Create a "Contract" plan, including all relevant commercial and technical milestones, including shipping dates, inspection requirements, and engineering and production time scales.

         Hold and lead regular reviews with factory management on scheduling and prioritization of contracts

         Discuss and finalize Letter of Credit and documentary requirements with the Finance Manager and responsible Sales Manager as necessary.

         Assist the Sales team and Licensed Solution team in identifying, developing and managing potential Regional Licensees.

         Oversee the implementation of systems and ensure proper allocation of resources for it.

         Develop & execute plans with the Service team which produce profitable Energy Services revenue.

         Review existing processes for the commercial department and identify areas for improvement.

         Manage and approve orders on operating units both commercially and technically and attend/instigate regular progress/production meetings.

         Manage order acknowledgement to customer and from operating units, ensuring that required time scales are planned.

         Working with broad team including finance, sales, logistics, engineering and the plants to coordinate and drive business success.

         Manage post-order process between customer and operating unit.  This may involve contract review meetings with manufacturing plants; responsibilities include management of:

                     Shipping dates;

                     Documentation - licenses, approval documents;

                     Ensuring contract drawings are submitted on time;

                     Obtaining customer approval of contract drawings;

                     Ensuring inspections are arranged in time for the contract to be executed in the required timescale;

                     Assisting in post-contract customer discussions, both technically and commercially.  This may require customer visits.


Qualifications:

Requirements

         Excellent English communication skills along with proficiency in Thai language.

         At least a bachelor degree in related field

         At least 8 years of working experience in management of customer contracts

         Background in manufacturing companies

          Computer literate. Ability to use Excel at least 10 key functions and create complex report.
